Third TVET Winter Camp concludes

“One Skill by One Youth is Zero Dependence (1+1=0)” is a take away from the third Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Winter Camp for the 117 student participants who participated in the ten different skill trades.


The camp ended on 21st January 2017 with the awarding of certificates to the participants of various trades and also one male & one female received the best student trophy of the camp from Hon’ble Lyonpo Ngeema Sangay Tshempo gracing the closing ceremony as the chief guest in Jigme Wangchuck Power Training Institute (JWPTI) – Dekiling, Sarpang.

The objective of the camp is to improve the societal image of TVET and create awareness among the school students of TVET as a viable career path and also to keep students gainfully engaged during the winter vacation.

The camp was organized by the Department of Human Resources, MoLHR for the duration if three weeks.
